The Wait of A Lifetime .:Chapter 5:. I'm going to die!

I slowly opened my eyes and saw John standing in front of me, his lacrose stick held out in front of him. My heart skipped a beat as another zombie ran towards us, bu he swung down with such a force, the stick made a woosh noise as it collided with the zombie's head. It fell to the ground. All around us, people were either fighting back or were being eaten by the infected. I looked over at another girl also backed into a corner. She was kicking and screaming. She saw me staring at her and began to scream louder.

"HELP ME!! DEAR GOD HELP ME!!" She tried to crawl over to us, but a zombie bit into her leg.

I opened my eyes to see a white ceiling glaring back at me. I looked down and saw that I was in a black tank top and a pair of kaki shorts. It had to be at least 60 degrees in there. I shivered and started to stand up when the door burst open. Kim burst in and ran in for a hug.

"Oh Caitlin! I thought you were going to become one of them!" She sobbed into my shoulder. My head pounded and my memory was a bit fuzzy, but I could clearly remember what I had done. I began to shake with tears of my own. I couldn't get the smell of blood out of my nose.
